The Sword Dance

Short piece I decided to make to put into practise some of the techniques I had been learning about.   Layering, depth of field and camera techniques are all used in this short animated film.  I still wanted something related to my main project which is why the characters are dressed in business wear and are in a city location, more will be revealed later....

The film shows of my editing style and hopefully the type of composition “The Disciples (The Dark War)” will take.  It took around 20 hours to make this 2 minute piece so for my 1 hour, 3 part epic….it’s gonna take ages.  Music used is by “System of a Down” and is called “Question”.  I did consider calling the film this but “The Sword Dance” worked for me.

The Last Dragon (Reprisal)

Paul and Susan Irwin had had a difficult upbringing due to the fact; their parents were killed when they were both very young. Paul brought up in London (England) and Susan (Hong Kong) by their mothers brother. Paul unsure of his future went to Hong Kong to be with his sister & uncle and to see if he could adapt to their culture. However just before his return back to England, Susan was killed, Paul then decided to follow her path and become a Dragon.

The Last Dragon

Brother and sister have had a tragic past and have tried to settle in Hong Kong, the home of their mother. Their Uncle is looking after them and trying to show Paul the ways of the Dragon, an ancient fighting art passed down from generation to generation.

On it's maiden voyage the star ship "Earth 1" is returning to Alpha 4 with a very important person.  However they have picked up another passenger, this one is not friendly.
